PRACTICE EXPERIENCE:
Mariluh Santos is currently handling both corporate and litigation matters. While still in her fledgling years in the law practice, she has already been deeply involved in transactional documentation of major projects. In litigation work, her focus is geared towards cases involving family, civil and intellectual property laws.
Ms. Santos has been assisting in the review of various license agreements with foreign software and online game developers and in the registration of such license agreements with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines. She has also been involved in the review of various corporate contracts and agreements, as well as in the due diligence of various corporations. She has also been involved in making representations with the BOI on the compliance of clients with the terms and conditions of their BOI Registrations.

Ms. Santos has likewise been representing clients before the Securities and Exchange Commission relative to the preparation and filing of SEC reportorial requirements.
Ms. Santos is currently assisting in the implementation of the capital restructuring of a major water concessionaire, which involves the assignment by a government-owned and controlled corporation of its right to subscribe to the shares of such concessionaire. |
